Robert Carlton Hangers is the former Wooden Hanger Division of Batts, Inc., which fully manufactured "Made in the USA" garment hangers in Western Michigan for 97 Years. In 1999, it was acquired by Bennett Wood Specialties, Inc. and began operating as Robert Carlton Hangers. Since 1906, Bennett Wood has manufactured custom wood products and is currently in its 4th generation of family ownership and operation. Robert Carlton Hangers is the leading supplier of high quality suit hangers. We serve a variety of custom tailors and storefronts around the country. We are the only hanger company that still produces most of the hanger components in the USA. Using an imported body, we use a stronger and thicker hook than our competitors, which we install at our factory in Michigan. We also hand-make our locking pant bar from scratch in our Michigan factory. These components are of superior quality and will out-last any competitor.
